If you can donate the bunk beds (due to space it really needs to be bunk beds) please comment below or email me at Jason@connecttothevine.org

If you would like to help with food, please bring enough groceries to provide 1 meal to The Vine Church on 9/25 and drop it at the cafe’.

Coats for Christmas ’10

Thank you for taking the time to let me share with you an amazing opportunity to help serve others.  In the season of considering what we are thankful for, how many of us are thankful for being warm?  There are many people in our greater community area who are homeless and have no way of keeping warm.  Please join us as we collect Coats for Christmas to help provide some level of warmth to these individuals during this season of cold weather.

This ministry was started through the vision of a couple of guys from The Vine Church in Braselton, Georgia, four years ago.  Over the past three years, we have distributed over 1200 coats, sweaters, windbreakers, scarves, and gloves.  It does not matter the thickness of the garment, because the key to warmth is layering.  This year we will continue an ongoing relationship with 7 Bridges to Recovery.  This ministry serves the homeless population day in and day out throughout the streets of Atlanta.  With your generosity, we will be able to keep giving and serving those in need.  Our goal for this year is to have 500 coats, sweaters, windbreakers, scarves, and gloves.  To find a drop off location please email Coats4Christmas@gmail.com

The Garden

thegardenthegarden3The Garden serves as a homeless shelter 7 nights a week for 50 women and their children to receive healthy meals, a warm bed but most of all, the Love of the Father.  Daily transportation is provided to The Atlanta Day Shelter for Women and Children in downtown Atlanta to help with job counseling, computer training, childcare, etc.  At The Garden they pour out the love of Jesus on these beautiful women as the Lord ministers to their hearts. A service or Bible study is offered nightly in the Sanctuary for the women and children. It is always open to the public and they welcome volunteers to help drive, cook, serve meals and teach. The Garden is totally funded by GOD! and his Children.

The Garden operates under the guidance of Pastor 7 and 7 Bridges to Recovery.

The opportunities for you to serve at The Garden are as BIG and as many as the dreams you can dream.  Contact me and let’s talk about your NEXT step toward serving at The Garden.  If it’s your Cluster Group, your family, or you as an individual.

Are you ready to serve at The Garden?
