On Saturday 9/11 we are inviting you to serve those who serve you. This is an opportunity to show appreciation to the people who give of themselves to make your life better. Consider gathering with your family or friends and taking baked goods or fruit to the nearest fire station or police station this coming Saturday morning. When asked why you would do such a thing, let them know you appreciate the fact they give up time with their family to protect and serve your family. If you choose or have an opportunity, you can tell them your church, The Vine is showing those who serve the community Love today by giving them a treat. This is an opportunity for those of us at The Vine to serve people who serve us. Ultimately when we serve others we follow the example of Jesus who came to serve and not be served.
